SMG Teacher Wins 3M Star in the Classroom Award

Congratulations to Danielle Gladstone for winning the 3M Star in the Classroom Award! According the eNews Park Forest, Danielle says:

Collaborating in Maryland for a Sound Financial Future

Last month, the Maryland Council on Economic Education partnered with the T. Rowe Price Foundation and Towson University to give students participating in the Maryland Stock Market Game at Thomas Johnson Elementary and Middle School an opportunity to engage in real world economics and investing. The students were from Dr. Sharon Smith's class.

Thank you to the Maryland Council on Economic Education, the T. Rowe Price Foundation, and Towson University for coming together and taking on the task of providing young students with a sound financial education.

Sussex Tech SMG Advisor Named Innovative Educator

Congratulations to Stock Market Game Advisor William Anderson! The financial literacy teacher at Sussex County Technical School in Sparta Township, NJ was named Innovative Educator for September 2013. As a part of his prize package, he received sponsorship from Visa to attend this month's Jump$tart Coalition's National Educator Conference in Washington, DC.
